Ashok Chandran is an MBA in Systems and Marketing and has post graduate qualifications in the areas of Business Management, Financial Management, Sales & Marketing and Management Consulting. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), from the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) and is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI).

Ashok is closely involved with the Internet Industry in India since 1995, and is responsible for many success stories on the Internet. He has worked in key positions at Reliance Group, India World Communications, Aptech Limited., Abacus Software and Polaris Software.

As the Head of Investor relations and Instrument Reconciliation at Reliance Ashok played a key role in the mega public issues of the RPPL and RPEL and also in Reliance Petroleum and Reliance Capital public issues.

Ashok Chandran was part of the core team of India World where he contributed to the creation of India’s most successful Internet brands. From its pioneering start, India World has grown to be one of the largest collections of India-centric websites, comprising Samachar, Khel, Khoj, and Bawarchi. IndiaWorld was acquired by Satyam Infoway in November 1999 for USD 115 million.

Ashok worked with Aptech Limited where he closely worked with IBM to offer Net.commerce and other e-business solutions to clients in India.

Ashok has also been a Strategy consultant and has supported several CEO’s in the areas of e-business strategy, Venture Capital, marketing and HRIS software development. Ashok is currently based at Mumbai, India.
